* * * COLLISON IN MELBOURNE * * *

Last night (05/11/25) PC Bennett and PCSO Greville attended reports of an RTC in Melbourne, on Station Road. A driver had collided with a young person on an E-Scooter. Paramedics arrived on scene to provide first aid to the rider of the scooter. After ensuring all parties were safe and well, the E-Scooter was seized.

🚫  PLEASE TAKE  NOTE: E-Scooters cannot be used in public spaces. If you are spotted riding one, it will be seized under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act 1988. Our priority will always be public safety and these scooters do pose a risk both to riders and to members of the public.

The SNT will continue to patrol and take action around E-Scooters in the community.
